nablet has released its SmartRender (SR) Editor and SDK with ultra-fast trim and cut editing of XAVC, XDCAM and other formats with frame accuracy. They enable significant cost savings by eliminating the need for expensive hardware XAVC or XDCAM encoders.
AACHEN, Germany, Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- nablet, a leading provider of media analysis and processing technologies, announced today that it has released its SmartRender (SR) Editor and SDK. The new tools enable ultra-fast trim and cut editing of XAVC, XDCAM and other formats with frame accuracy. Using high-quality nablet codecs, only a few frames are rendered, at the beginning and end of edit points.
The new products enable significant cost savings by eliminating the need for expensive hardware XAVC or XDCAM encoders. Internal testing shows that the SR technology can reduce encoding times by as much as 400 percent over traditional XAVC encoding. Even in cases where smart rendering is not ideal, the nablet XAVC Encoder can encode 25-30 percent faster than other codecs on the market, depending on the selected profiles.
The nablet SmartRender editor is a user-friendly Windows app, with a macOS version planned for release soon. The SDK is available for Windows, macOS and Linux. An online editor is also available in the nablet cloud.
