The National Lifeline Association (NaLA) applauds today’s appointment of Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel as Acting Chairwoman of the Federal Communications Commission. NaLA shares Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel’s goal of connecting everyone to ensure that all have an opportunity at “21st century success” and we look forward to working together on the Emergency Broadband Benefit.

NaLA commends Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel for her work on and continuing commitment to ensuring that all Americans have affordable access to broadband. In response to the announcement, NaLA’s Chairman, David Dorwart, said “We look forward to working with Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel and the talented and dedicated FCC staff on improving the Lifeline program and on getting the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) out to eligible consumers quickly.
