The course was expanded to a three-day program, with one full-day dedicated to kitchen cabinet and countertop refinishing.

“Educating refinishers with the proper techniques and safety protocols by providing intense, hands-on training, is a critical service that we provide to the growing refinishing market,” said Dani Nichols, President of NAPCO. “We are constantly looking for ways to help our refinishers increase their earning capacity. Adding kitchen refinishing to our training program not only increases refinishers’ skill sets, but it also increases their ability to land more jobs,” she added.

The three-day refinishing course instructs attendees on all aspects of the industry, including practical application of the refinishing products, how to handle issues that may arise on the job, and best practices for running a small refinishing business. The 2019 training program will be held monthly at NAPCO’s headquarters at 7315 Hamlin Avenue in Skokie, Illinois, which is just a few miles north of Chicago.
