Dani Nichols, President of North American Polymer Company, Ltd, (NAPCO), celebrated her 23rd anniversary with the company on 14 February. Nichols has been serving as President since 2018, and her leadership has been essential to NAPCO’s success over the years.
Nichols joined NAPCO in 1996 as a Sales and Customer Service Representative. Within a short time of her initial job as customer service representative for NAPCO, Nichols was leading the department. In 2004, she took on the role of Vice President at NAPCO and in 2018 she became President.
“Dani’s commitment to service and exceptional professionalism has been extremely important in not only building and maintaining our customer base but also in driving our company’s overall growth,” noted Steven Coven, NAPCO’s founder and CEO. “Over Dani’s 23 years at the company, she has led pivotal projects including the launch of our industry first e-commerce website and been a main force behind our double-digit sales increases.”
Under Nichols’ leadership, NAPCO has pursued many new growth opportunities and has received several awards, including being named one of “Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies” to work for in 2017 and 2018. NAPCO has also extended its product line with eco-friendly refinishing products and has expanded to include international distribution in Australia, UK, Netherlands, and in parts of Asia. Nichols’ management has also led to NAPCO’s zero to 5% employee turnover within the company during the past five years.
“23 years ago, I came to NAPCO with very little experience, but this company gave me the chance to develop my skills over time,” said Nichols. “I had the opportunity learn from others which laid the foundation for my success today. I now pass this on to our employees and customers by helping them develop and reach their goals. I am excited to continue growing alongside NAPCO over the next 23 years.”
