National Association of Professional Women Inducts Annette Hadley, Founder/Owner of Abundance Art LLC, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 29, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Annette Hadley as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Annette into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Annette Hadley has 20 years of experience as a Perioperative Nurse and 15 as a Clinical Informatics Consultant. But it is her role as Founder and Owner of Abundance Art LLC—and her talents as an Artist and Writer—that she most identifies with today.
“I discovered my inner artist during extensive and intensive trauma recovery therapy in 2011,” she said. Later, in 2012, she was living and working in the Middle East, journaling/illustrating and painting in her free time, as well as continuing her trauma recovery journey. During this time, she recognized her strong desire to shift away from Clinical Informatics and into a creative career. “It was an internal calling, a longing deep within me,” Ms Hadley recounts.
In 2014, she founded Abundance Art. “My responsibilities are to live abundantly every day by nourishing the world with what nourishes me,” she said. “I create, market and sell my products and services.” Ms. Hadley believes her expansive healthcare and technical/informatics background and ability to ask for and receive the support of others enabled her to create “a strong and scalable creative business foundation.”
Ms. Hadley expresses herself through her art, including painting, illustrating and photography, and through her writing. Her first book, "From Fear to Love: How Creativity Saved My Life and Will Change Yours for the Better," was recently released. She also connects with many followers through social media, and as a Creativity Coach. Plus, she has a playful outlet: “As a cat lover and child at heart, I ‘help’ my cat Maitri with her own business ‘Maitri’s Memweowr’ and her social media following,” Ms. Hadley added.
Moving forward, Ms. Hadley plans to write and publish more books, grow her business, expand her social media reach, and market and sell her art both nationally and internationally. “I’d love to have one of my paintings hanging in the Tate Modern in London!” she said. Taking on speaking engagements to educate others on the healing power of creativity, she also envisions starting a foundation to help others overcome trauma. “On the lighter side, Maitri will publish her Memweowr. And see where she goes from there...”
