National Association of Professional Women Inducts Niki Carter, Founder/President/CEO of Vana Hawaii Builders, Inc., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Niki Carter as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Ms. Carter started out in the commercial construction industry in 2004 as the sole proprietor of Vana Hawaii. Today, as President, CEO and Founder of Vana Hawaii Builders, Inc., which was originally incorporated in 2010 as Vana Hawaii Construction, Inc., Ms. Carter is key to the ongoing success of the Los Angeles-based construction company.

In her leadership role, Ms. Carter manages the day-to-day operations of the business, overseeing numerous commercial general construction projects. From managing a staff of construction experts to consulting with clients to establishing and maintaining working relationships with outside vendors and contractors, Ms. Carter is involved in every aspect of Vana Hawaii Builders, Inc. Her other responsibilities include submitting proposals, handling contracts, managing budget and scheduling projects.
