The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Collette Coggins as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Self-motivated and results driven to succeed, Collette Coggins is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.

Ms. Coggins is Owner of Cherokee Nation Construction Services, a construction company that provides “government and private industries with detail-oriented construction services.” Recognized by the Small Business Administration as a Tribal 8(a) Program Participant, Emerging Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business Certified Business, the company was recently awarded a $1.1 million contract.

Bringing 25 years of industry experience to her role, Ms. Coggins oversees the day-to-day operations of the construction company using her skills and expertise in construction, dry wall installation, management, engineering, scheduling, safety and financial management. Working with a team of highly skilled professionals, Ms. Coggins ensures all construction projects are completed on time and on budget.
