National Association of Professional Women Announces Ivone Teixeira, Director of Sales Administration at Oasis Foods Co., as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ivone Teixeira is recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.

NAPW honors Ivone Teixeira as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Teixeira is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in sales. As the largest, most-recognized networking organization of professional women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and nearly 300 Local Chapters.

“Three months into the job I was offered the Customer Service Supervisor position, and that’s where I started my journey to reach my personal goal, which was management,” says Ms. Teixeira.

Prior to joining Oasis Foods Co., Ms. Teixeira worked for an organization that offered no opportunity for growth. Realizing she wanted more professionally, she took a position with one of the largest manufacturers of food products for the food service industry in the Northeast. She made the right decision. More than 15 years later, Ms. Teixeira has steadily climbed the corporate ladder at Oasis, learning many different aspects of the business, taking on more managerial responsibility and honing her professional skills and industry knowledge.

In her role as Director of Sales Administration, Ms. Teixeira’s key responsibilities are to manage the gross profit and sales volume growth. Her areas of expertise include new business development, staff training and development, budgeting and forecasting, and ROI analysis. Ms. Teixeira’s tireless professionalism, along with her outstanding communication and team-building skills, contribute to her effectiveness as a leader. “The most rewarding aspect of my job is the opportunity to continue to learn and grow personally and professionally,” says Ms. Teixeira. “My personal goal is to manage my own business one day.”
