Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 22, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Judith I. Stevens as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Judith into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Judith Stevens has more than 35 years of experience in senior care giving, including taking care of her own loved ones, which has been an inspiration for her work. “I was inspired by my ‘papa,’ not my biological dad, but closer,” she said. “We (my sister and I) grew up with him in our lives and we cherished him so much and I had the privilege of taking care of him the last 14 years of his life.” In addition to her real-life experiences, Ms. Stevens has worked as a professional caregiver, and has continually updated her skills through professional development and educational courses.
Since 2004, Ms. Stevens, who is the Author of Senior Secrets: Caregiving Advice from the Front Lines, has been in her current position, Owner and Senior Care Coordinator at A Loving Touch in Senior Care, a care giving placement registry. “My key responsibilities are to bring together clients needing care and caregivers who have the skills and training to help them in their homes,” Ms. Stevens said. “Also, I have the responsibility of running my office.” She works tirelessly to ensure seniors receive the care of the highest quality, whether it’s in-home care, or at assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, etc.
Although it can be challenging to find the best care possible for all seniors, she is committed to maintaining the highest standards when it comes to running her company. She finds it most rewarding when she hears from clients and/or their families that they are satis ed with the care they found for them. “My future goals are to continue to grow my business and continue to bring the very best of care in the homes of my seniors,” said Ms. Stevens.
