NAPW Inducts Jennifer Pennington, Professional Animal Trainer ABCDT, Lead With Fun, into Its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 08, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Jennifer Pennington as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. Ms. Pennington has built a successful 15-plus-year career working with domestic and exotic animals of every kind. Her titles include Keeper at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL, Dog Wrangler at Dogtopia and Curator / Educator at Reptiles Alive! in Fairfax, VA.
In February 2013, Ms. Pennington became the Founder and Owner of Lead With Fun and Pawsitive Critter Academy LLC. There, she serves as Professional Animal Trainer ABCDT, specializing in dog training and behavior modification.
“I have trained exotic animals from ostriches to crocodiles,” said Ms. Pennington. “My current interest is in solving problem behaviors in pets and using positive reinforcement to make training fun for families in the Northern Virginia Area.”
Ms. Pennington believes training should build a happy and trusting relationship between owners and their pets. Her scientifically proven methods are positive, gentle and effective. “We turn training into a game both you and your pet will love to play,” she said.
Outside of her successful career at Lead With Fun, Ms. Pennington is also an operational K9 Handler and Trainer with the Virginia Search and Rescue Dog Association, which uses dogs to find lost people in the wilderness.
Ms. Pennington graduated with honors from Animal Behavioral College in 2013. She is currently involved with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and American Kennel Club CGC (Canine Good Citizen) as an Evaluator. She is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
