National Association of Professional Women Inducts Dawnell Walden, CFO/Accounting/Accounts Receivable at Vehicle Wraps, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

Dawnell Walden is CFO/Accounting/Accounts Receivable at Vehicle Wraps, Inc. The Sacramento, CA-based business is a large format printing company that specializes in vehicle wraps, which are used as marketing tools on automobiles, trucks, vans, buildings, storefronts and more.
Ms. Walden said she first went to work for her boyfriend at the company just to help him out with a few projects but soon found herself immersed in the business. “I never left. I started learning about everything,” she said. Overseeing accounting and human resources, Ms. Walden has helped to develop the employee handbook and streamline many aspects of the business to help it operate more efficiently and effectively.
“I created our Checkup program, which helps to keep our clients’ wraps in tops condition,” she said. “I then learned and streamlined our QuickBooks systems.”
Ensuring the company gives back to the community whenever possible is important to Ms. Walden. Vehicle Wraps, Inc. provides discounts to county and local schools. A strong supporter of organizations and events that support breast cancer awareness, Ms. Walden oversees the company’s involvement with the local fire department, which has donated a large portion of the cost to wrap the fire engine in pink.
