Nashville Arts School Gets Creative as Students Work and Record From Home
Nashville's Dark Horse Institute, a music production and entertainment business school, embraces social distancing with Students and Faculty producing a remote recording of The Beatles' classic song "Come Together."
NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As the "shelter in place" order was given in Tennessee, the staff at Dark Horse Institute quickly adapted and began teaching all five of their classes online. "I have been amazed at the creative ideas our teachers and students have been coming up with to engage each other online," says Robin Crow, founder of Dark Horse Institute, now in its ninth year. "These are tough times, but every one of us on the planet is in this together, and that brings us together."
Dark Horse Institute opened in 2013, and for its first two years, held Audio Engineering classes at Dark Horse Recording, a four studio complex in Franklin TN. Since then, the school has moved to the Factory in Franklin, and expanded its programs to include Music Business as well.
Come Together is the perfect song that reflects what we are all experiencing. Performances like this bring us a little closer together and is a powerful reminder that we will come through this ordeal by Coming Together.
