In partnership with 9/11 Day, AmeriCorps, and The Battery Conservancy, volunteers and sponsors came together for tree planting and park restoration, observing the anniversary through community renewal. Continuing its longtime partnership with One Tree Planted, Nassimi was honored to support an initiative that transformed remembrance into local conservation. Nassimi employees joined fellow volunteers and sponsors for a ceremonial tree planting in Battery Park's Labyrinth of Contemplation, followed by park maintenance and beautification efforts. Located near the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, The Battery stands as both a memorial space and a symbol of resilience for New Yorkers. The day concluded with a gathering in the Bosque Gardens, offering a moment for reflection and connection.
