Nate Bull Preaches Change ‘With Love from the Streets’
Kalamazoo, Mich. (PRWEB) January 13, 2015 -- Written to ignite within readers a sense of revival and repentance, the new book “With Love from the Streets: Encouraging the Church to Carefully Consider What We’ve Come to Believe” (published by WestBow Press) by author Nate Bull is a spiritual guidebook that shows the pitfalls of what Bull calls “casual seeking of the Lord.”
“I want the reader to be encouraged to sit back and think about why they believe what they do and why they live their beliefs out in the way they do,” Bull says. “In general, I want us to have a desire to be much greater than what we’ve become.”
“With Love from the Streets” includes stories from Bull’s years of ministry in inner cities and his organization Vanguard Street Ministries. Featuring what Bull sees as “powerful clues” to which he feels the Church should be looking for solutions to the backsliding he has witnessed in the religious community, his new book lays bare a plan of action for Christians to follow throughout their lives.
“As an urban, domestic missionary, I have been learning things that will be helpful to every church as we struggle to find ways to minister to a nation that no longer comes to the Sunday morning gatherings we’ve known and loved,” Bull says. “This book is different because of the prophetic confrontation of the American Church that is hidden in the stories of our work in the streets. This confrontation doesn’t come from an angry platform that sometimes prophetic books do.”
