National Association of Professional Women Inducts Deborah Keane, Chief Executive Officer of California Caviar, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) December 03, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional (NAPW) honors Deborah Keane, as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to recognize Deborah with this important honor,” says NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
Deborah Keane left an exceptionally demanding career in Neonatal Nursing in order to rethink her profession. It was after attending a fundraiser in San Francisco that Ms. Keane found her calling. She struck up a conversation with an investor in the farmed caviar business ‒ and within weeks had a job selling sturgeon eggs. She soon discovered she had the required palate for discerning the quality of caviar.
In December 2007, Ms. Keane, currently dubbed the “Caviar Queen,” launched California Caviar, which now has the exclusive distribution rights to introduce the North American market to the first-ever sustainable, no-kill caviar. California Caviar sells millions of dollars worth of farmed caviar each year and works with celebrated Chefs Jacques Pépin, Jose Garces and Daniel Patterson.
Caviar has always been considered an extravagance for only the well-heeled. Thanks to the uncompromising taste and integrity of Ms. Keane, soon everyone will have access to this enduring delicacy.
