National Association of Professional Women Inducts Temitope Tijani, Student at Rutgers University, Into Its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 12, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Temitope Tijani as a 2015-2016 inductee into the NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in human resources. As one of NAPW’s youngest members, Temitope Tijani is showing such promise at the beginning of her career that she is being honored as a peer with women who have already established themselves as leaders and mentors. At age 21 and currently a student, she has already determined industry she would like to focus on. She recently interned at a successful
businessand took notice of its human resources department.
“I have always believed people are the greatest asset to a remunerative business,” she said. Ms. Tijani is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University. She is the Project Manager of Merit Awards (Rutgers Uni, Society of Human Resource Management, RUSHRM) and her responsibilities are to gather information from the leadership team, develop a list and timeline of tasks to be completed for the year, organize all requirements for the form and gather funds to gain more points for higher recognition of RUSHRM (Rutgers University National Society for Human Resource Management.)
“I would like to be the person who contributes only positive things in as many lives as possible by adding my own quota in developing the economy, the company and people in general. I’ll utilize my knowledge and experience and eventually have my own company,” she said.
