National Aviation Academy Opens New Facility at Minute Man Air Field
CLEARWATER, FLA. (PRWEB) September 24, 2016 -- National Aviation Academy (NAA) has opened a training facility at Minute Man Air Field in Stow, Mass. Originally founded in Tampa Bay in 1969, NAA created a community of educators dedicated to building a quality aviation maintenance workforce. NAA now thrives in the multi-trillion-dollar global aerospace industry with a multitude of graduates working throughout the country with industry leaders like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, General Atomics, and more.
NAA has developed the reputation of first-class aviation training by providing a comprehensive curriculum built on industry standards, forward-thinking sensibility, and hands-on training. Currently, NAA trains aviation maintenance professionals in Clearwater, Fla. and Concord, Mass. Both campuses serve as instructional hubs that provide lifetime* career services assistance to all graduates.
Minute Man Air Field began as a 1700 ft. grass landing strip in 1963 and has added aircraft maintenance and storage hangars, a runway extension, a second “cross-wind” runway, aircraft parking aprons and an upgraded fuel storage facility. NAA—New England’s training operation is the newest addition to the airfield.
Minute Man’s active atmosphere will be an added benefit to NAA’s already exceptional training standard. NAA’s hangar has been designed to maximize the student experience and prepare individuals for practical applications of training allowing them to complete all hands-on training at a live airfield.
Nearly 1.5 million aviation professionals will be needed to meet the demands of the industry over the next twenty years.** Good news for NAA graduates because of their skill-set and knowledge, prestigious employers such as General Atomics, Delta, JetBlue, Cape Air, Pratt & Whitney and Bombardier have recognized NAA’s superior training and excellence in education, directly recruiting from NAA.
