MIAMI, Aug. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Genuine Health Group, a Miami-based, integrated healthcare company leading physicians through the industry's transition to value-based care, announced today that Marc Auerbach, Esq. has joined the leadership team as chief legal officer and general counsel. Mr. Auerbach specializes in healthcare law and has counseled a wide range of healthcare organizations, including physician groups, HMOs, ACOs, home health agencies, hospitals, and academic medical centers. As general counsel for Genuine Health Group, he will assist the rapidly growing company with transactions related to physician engagements and home healthcare, as well as the complex arrangements Genuine Health is forging with managed care organizations and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Mr. Auerbach previously served as a shareholder of Cozen O'Connor, ranked among the top law firms in the country, where he specialized in healthcare. During his time with Cozen O'Connor, he worked on fraud and abuse issues, physician practice acquisitions, managed care contracting, development of ACOs, compensation matters, purchase and sale agreements, and intellectual property licensing. He also has experience with electronic health records and related online healthcare technology concerns.
