VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Feb. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF) has once again received a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest and most-referenced independent evaluator of national charities. In addition, NSF scored a perfect 100 on the charitable watchdog's ranking system for the fourth year in a row.
Michael A. Thatcher, Charity Navigator's President & CEO, informed the Navy SEAL Foundation's management staff and board of directors about the eighth consecutive 4-Star rating, he also reported that the organization had achieved its fourth consecutive perfect 100 score. According to Thatcher, just 4 percent of the more than 8,000 charities rated by Charity Navigator received the 4-Star designation eight consecutive times and only 67 charities had perfect scores this year, placing NSF in the top 0.8% of rated charities.
