NCC Board of Directors elects Jacki S. Witt, JD, MSN, WHNP-BC, FAANP as President of NCC
The National Certification Corporation (NCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacki S. Witt, JD, MSN, WHNP-BC, FAANP as President of NCC. Directors are elected by constituents through a slate approval process and officers are appointed by the Board of Directors.
CHICAGO, Feb. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ms. Witt's broad, diverse leadership experience in clinical care, academia, certification and continuing education combined with her long-standing advocacy for professional certification has uniquely prepared her to serve as the President of NCC.

Ms. Witt joined NCC's Board of Directors in 2013 and served as Secretary-Treasurer from 2014-2019. She is the Past Chair of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH) Board of Directors and is a member of the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association's Board of Directors.
Ms. Witt is a Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Studies and has taught at all levels of nursing education for more than 25 years.
For over 35 years, Ms. Witt has provided health care services to diverse, and mainly under-or uninsured women. She currently sees patients at an adult correctional facility near Kansas City, Missouri.
Ms. Witt will continue as the Project Director for the Title X-funded National Clinical Training Center for Family Planning (a role she has filled since its inception in 2006).
