NDC Academy Award Semi-Finalists Announced
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 31, 2015 -- The National Development Council (NDC) has announced the semi-finalists of the NDC Academy 2015 Awards. The awards recognize the top economic and community development projects in the nation and are part of NDC Academy 2015. The NDC Academy is a biennial conference focused on providing community development professionals from around the nation with the latest on policy changes and best practices affecting federal, state and local development finance tools that are critical to the achievement of urban and rural job creation, affordable housing and community development goals.

One project in each category will be awarded the top honor at the NDC Academy 2015 Awards on May 14th. Attendees of the conference will vote for one project in each category.

The NDC Academy 2015 will take place May 12-14 in Washington, D.C. NDC Academy is a biennial conference that offers economic, housing and community development professionals from around the nation opportunities to engage in panels and courses addressing the latest policy developments and new trends impacting their profession.
Under the theme, “Your Work Moves Your Community and Our Country Forward” NDC Academy 2015 will once again, present the latest news from elected officials and administration staff on policy developments and will feature 22 panel discussions and short courses focused on the latest financing tools and development strategies for every type of community development activity.
