Nearly Blind Radio Show Host gets Eye Surgery, Throws Away Cane, and Gets Driver's License
Dr. William May, an ophthalmologist at Wellish Vision Institute located in Las Vegas, Nevada, had the pleasure of performing a life-altering procedure on patient Ryan Hernandez, a radio personality with Magic Latino Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 2, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ryan Hernandez is a radio personality on the Magic Latino Las Vegas show, and up until four years ago, he lived with nearly complete blindness. Hernandez had extreme eye trauma that left him with the use of only one of his eyes, and he was highly near-sighted in that eye as well. Over the years Hernandez has gone through multiple procedures in an attempt to repair his eye and was told by numerous ophthalmologists and optometrists that he would be completely blind by the age of 30.
