With NearMinder, users can get reminders of their to-dos as they’re on-the-go, at the right time, at the right place, and with the right people: they can move around, meet a friend, a family member or a co-worker, pass by a shop and get back home while being notified of everything they planned to do, on the spot.

NearMinder’s technology utilizes users’ location to determine their proximity to contacts and places and trigger notifications. The proximity calculation system is made to be battery efficient so that NearMinder uses as less battery as possible. To protect users’ privacy, their location is not displayed if they are more than a kilometer away from each other. Users can also turn on a private mode to hide their own location from other users.
The app has been released in August 2017 and is available for free and ad-free. It counts now almost 10,000 downloads with more than 2,000 active users spread across the globe, mainly from the US, UK and Asia.
