Neon Cycle + Strength is an energetic, fun, non-intimidating studio that caters to all levels of fitness; from beginner to elite. Whether the motivation is weight loss, cardiovascular fitness or strength training, Neon Cycle + Strength makes it easy to by combining childcare ($5 per session), nutritional fueling and top instructors in a gorgeous state-of-the art facility.
The new 4,850-square-foot facility features separate studios for both rhythm rides and strength training. The indoor cycling studio is equipped with 44 Stages Cycling bikes. The adjacent studio is equipped for bootcamp-style workouts and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Both areas feature a blood-pumping sound system, and spectacular light show during each class. Gorgeously appointed changing areas with lockers, showers, and complimentary towels create a fun, comfortable and convenient destination for the community seeking to maintain a healthy lifestyle and connect with the community.
The Alfia's chose the location along the border between Plano and Frisco because of its desirable location and high concentration of new businesses. Our research indicates it's an underserved fitness market with few options for mothers who need a fitness facility offering childcare options and class schedules that fit into their busy schedules.
Neon Cycle + Strength is managed by Jon Mize, Director of Wheel to Survive, a fundraising channel for the Be The Difference Foundation, and former Director of Sports and Fitness for the Jewish Community Center. In his new role, he will leverage his previous experience managing a large sports and fitness complex with more than 8,000 individual members. In his experience as Director of Sports and Fitness, Jon oversaw membership retention, programming, group exercise programs, aquatics programming, personal training and recreational events.
Neon Cycle + Strength will also employ a full roster of top fitness instructors led by Chelsea Bailey, who has been an indoor cycling trainer for four years and is a former Dallas Cowboys R&B dancer and Dallas Stars Ice Girl. The team of instructors covers a variety of personalities and teaching methods. No two classes will be alike, so there's something for everyone.
Neon Cycle + Strength has sound system like no other in North Texas. The JBL VTX Line Array system focuses the sound directly at members and away from the walls and ceiling. The sound arrays coupled with the all-digital Crown and BSS processing system creates a clearer sound environment designed to help riders keep up the pace they desire while enjoying a concert-level experience as they workout. The lights are a combination of LED moving heads and black light effects that will thrill and delight the senses.
Duncan Design Group designed the facility, which has many distinctive features, including a bicycle wheel chandelier and custom handmade LED lighting squares. Owner Adam Alfia also hand crafted bicycle barstools and a lighting fixture made with bicycle wheels for use in the smoothie bar.
