The VMware SD-WAN Edge 600 Series supports bandwidth from 10Mbps to 5Gbps and is ideal for branch office and home locations where a compact form factor and low power requirements are desired. Select models also support virtual network function (VNF) capability, which will introduce unified threat management (UTM) as a future add-on.
The VMware SD-WAN Edge 3000 series supports bandwidth up to 10Gbps and is suited to headquarters, larger enterprise branches or data centers where high-performance networking, modular expansion and 1RU racking are key.
