Neuroinitiative is focused on creating computerized models of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, which together affect over 50 million people worldwide. There is currently no cure for either disease, and treatments only serve to mask the symptoms of disease, rather than stop the progressive degeneration. "It’s time to harness this cutting edge technology and empower scientists to find better treatments and cures.
