CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 17, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ALCHEMY, C3Lab's latest expansion, is a new 10,000 square ft. arts and entertainment center. Located in Charlotte's South End District, ALCHEMY includes a restaurant, coffee bar, art gallery, event & performance space, and gathering common. This new arts destination opens June 22nd to the public.
The Restaurant at Alchemy provides a mindfully curated selection of vegetarian-focused dishes with seamless protein substitutions that complement the flavor profiles of either option. Chef Ken Aponte brings his extensive experience to ALCHEMY'S culinary arts studio. His time at NAPA on Providence in Myers Park and world-renowned restaurant Alinea in Chicago has prepared him for this culinary challenge.

Thanks to the size of the unique space and its design, ALCHEMY safely offers a variety of Social Distance Sensitive Seating Options. In addition to rigorous sanitization routines, and continuous UVC air sterilization, staff provides safety measures to visitors from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.
Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, The Gathering Common will serve as a multi-use space, offering 3,000 sq. ft. of free community coworking. People can drop-in to utilize the space for work or meetings, and use the fiber internet, free of charge. The coffee bar will also be open so visitors can purchase coffee by Enderly or Birch Fine Tea, along with some light snacks. When not used for Coworking, The Gathering Common will host performances and community events throughout the year, and is available to rent for business functions, performances, private parties and weddings.
Gallery C3, the art gallery at ALCHEMY, curates 6 exhibits per year showcasing local and national artists' work. Diners will enter The Restaurant at Alchemy through Gallery C3, and can explore the current exhibit while waiting for their table.
