This book tells the story of the ups-and-downs of Nova, Cameron, Margo and Dana, a group of teenagers who goes through all stages of growing up and out of phases, people and surroundings. As they transition into being adults in the big world, they realised that not everything can be squeaky clean and that it is all right, as long as they are happy.
"This book takes a raw insight into a teenager's mindset, because it was written by a teenager. I was 17 or 18 when I wrote this book and I did not really change much when I was editing it now that I am 21," Indi says. "This book is different to the overly sugar coated teen books that you have read before. There is not always happy endings and when there is, there is always so much commotion and drama beforehand which does not take a phone call to fix, it takes months to years to fix, which is shown in the book."
When asked what she wants readers to take away from the book, Indi answers, "I want them to enjoy my writing. I want them to feel like they have read a friend's diary or listened to a friend tell their story about a person he or she is married to. I do not want them just to be readers.
