LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Actor/screenwriter/filmmaker Richard "Duffy" Hudson has released his first book titled, "The Boy Who Came from Heaven" a story about a small child who asks big questions. The 42-page paperback published by Olympia is available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The book is for young readers, ages 4-up. Illustrations by Hailey McLaughlin. ISBN-10 139341599 and ISBN 13 978-1839341595.
"I've always been inspired by stories of unconditional love and inclusion," says Hudson. "Mine is a story I felt needed to be told, a tale of a special needs child, who, on the night before his birthday, counts back the years to discover there once was a time before he was here. His big questions lead to big answers. I hope this book will help people see that it is natural for us to love one another."
Hudson gave high praise to illustrator McLaughlin. "Hailey (McLaughlin) immediately understood the theme and connectricity," says Hudson. "After I read the book to her, her first sketches were spot on, she really got it. No great children's book is without great illustration."
"The Boy Who Came from Heaven" is the story of a child who, alone in his room, searches his mind for his origins. Concluding that he must have come from heaven, he realizes he should always be good, behave as a child of heaven and lead a good life. Further examining his thoughts, he soon realizes we're all connected, that we are all children of heaven.
