A production of Emmy Award-winning Docufilms, the new podcast shares inspiring stories and candid conversations with people, organizations, and companies making a positive impact in their communities.
SANTA FE, N.M., Sept. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Doing Good, a new podcast exploring how ordinary people turn compassion into sustained action, launches September 15, 2026.
Produced by Emmy Award-winning Docufilms, Doing Good is a platform for sharing compelling stories and thoughtful conversations with individuals, nonprofit organizations, and companies working to strengthen their communities and improve others' lives.
At the heart of the podcast is a simple philosophy: doing good is not merely a belief or a label. It is a practice. It begins with noticing what is needed, accepting responsibility, and choosing to show up—and it becomes meaningful when that commitment is sustained over time.
Co-hosted by Anna Farrier, Gabriella Marks and Michael Campbell, the podcast will, through intimate, story-led conversations, introduce listeners to people tackling real challenges with creativity, courage and care. Its guests will include community leaders, advocates, entrepreneurs, volunteers, and others whose work shows the many different forms doing good can take.
"Doing Good reminds us that positive change often begins with one person deciding to act," said co-host Anna Farrier. "By sharing these stories, we hope to inspire listeners to recognize what is possible in their own communities."
"These conversations are about more than celebrating inspiring people," said Gabriella Marks. "They are about understanding what motivates someone to step forward, what keeps them committed, and what the rest of us can learn from their experience."
Each episode will look beyond accomplishments to explore the choices, relationships, and responsibilities behind the work. Rather than treating goodness as an abstract ideal, Doing Good examines how care becomes action—and how action can create lasting change.
Among the podcast's first guests are Zachariah Ben, a sixth-generation Diné farmer, sand painter, and founder of Bidii Baby Foods; attorney, mediator, and Ubuntu Works Project founder Eric Sirotkin, whose work explores healing, deep listening, and common ground; Juliana Ciano, co-founder of Reunity Resources, where community waste becomes soil, soil becomes food, and people become partners; and psychiatrist Dr. Zane Maroney, who invites communities to replace the question "What's wrong with you?" with the more compassionate "What happened to you?" Together, their stories reflect the many forms doing good can take — from preserving culture and nourishing families to transforming conflict and changing how people understand one another.
"We created Doing Good because remarkable acts of care are happening all around us, often without recognition," said Michael Campbell. "We want to give those stories a platform, invite meaningful conversation and encourage more people to consider how they, too, can make a difference."
Listeners are also invited to join the Doing Good community by sharing the story of someone they know who is making a positive impact. Story suggestions can be submitted through the podcast's website at doinggood.fm.
