SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Jan. 7, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Nike Field Hockey Camp at Wagner College in Staten Island is set to run this upcoming summer. This brand-new location will be run by Division I Head Field Hockey Coach, Niki Miller, and will offer players a unique opportunity to train with elite-level coaches.
The Wagner College Seahawks just recently re-instated their field hockey program after 40+ years without the sport. Upon reinstatement, the Seahawks also built a brand-new state-of-the-art field hockey turf complex for the team to compete on. Miller was the first head coach of the reintroduced program and brought significant years of field hockey experience to the new team. As an NCAA Division I player herself, Miller knows what it takes to compete at the elite level. Finishing their 2019 season with a win at home, Miller is now turning her focus to a new field hockey camp. During the month of July, Miller will be running an all skills program for both boys and girls.

As an all skills program, campers of all abilities are welcome to join the camp and will experience drills that are designed to fit their own skill level. The New York field hockey camp will provide the players with a positive and supportive environment which will help them develop the necessary skills to succeed.
The camp comes with two options, an overnight or extended day/commuter option. During the overnight program, girls can experience what it is like to stay on campus, while the extended day option gives boys and girls the ability to train on campus and eat in the Wagner College dining facilities.
The Nike Field Hockey Camp at Wagner College will be a partner camp of USA Field Hockey and will be sanctioned to make referrals to the USAFH Futures program.
