A new report from one of the web's leading all-remote job boards highlights 15 high paying, remote-enabled companies.
TUCSON, Ariz., Sept. 20, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A new report from Virtual Vocations names 15 high paying employers actively hiring for remote roles.
Founded in 2007, Virtual Vocations is a family-owned, 100% virtual company that has worked to connect jobseekers with legitimate remote job openings from expert-vetted employers for the last 15 years.
For its latest report, published Monday, the all-remote job board took a deep dive into a recent Wall Street Journal analysis that examined 2021 median annual wages data for 450 publicly traded, U.S.-based companies. The result is a comprehensive guide to remote job openings from 15 of the nation's highest paying employers.
In addition to ranking 15 high paying, remote-enabled employers by median annual pay in 2021, Virtual Vocations' report puts that data in context by examining wage growth within each company year over year and analyzing how those figures stack up against competitors.
Fourteen of the 15 companies featured by Virtual Vocations are among the top 20% in pay for their respective industries.
The report also reveals:
- The best median salaries among employers on the list range between $295,884 and $135,528.
- The average combined salary among the top 15 high paying remote companies is $202,827.
According to Virtual Vocations CEO and co-founder Laura Spawn, the new report serves as a roadmap for jobseekers in their quests for "both flexibility and financial independence while working from home."
"While employees in 2022 need the work-life flexibility provided by telecommuting, amid rising inflation, recession fears, and a national unemployment rate that took two years to rebound from its April 2020 nosedive, they also need to support their families and save for their futures," Spawn said. "The good news is telecommuters do not have to sacrifice top dollar to work remotely on a full-time basis."
Ranked by highest median annual wages in 2021 as reported by the Wall Street Journal, the top 10 high paying remote companies named by Virtual Vocations are as follows:
1. Google LLC
2. Meta Platforms, Inc.
3. ServiceNow
4. Twitter, Inc.
5. Etsy, Inc.
6. Gilead Sciences, Inc.
7. F5, Inc.
8. Netflix
9. Arista Networks, Inc.
