WILTON, N.H., Sept. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author Uwe Jaeckel has released his debut science fiction novel, "Shadow of Zelos" that will transport readers to the year 2030 where a skeptical interstellar radio message would soon change the world as we know it. This transmission is not from Earth and isn't a typical code that was normally received. Concealed from the public, the transmission was traced back to the north pole of Mars and a small expeditionary unit was quietly sent to investigate, ending in complete chaos.
Ten years later, Jaeckel introduces Darren Hildure and Feng Yusheng, the sole survivors from the first Mars expedition who courageously decide to lead the second Mars mission where they are dedicated to finding the location and hopefully the sender of this life altering transmission. Throughout the book, Jaeckel illustrates that the universe is at stake and Darren and Feng are instrumental in preparing for battle, uniting the world, and uncovering a plot against humanity. What Darren and Feng find on Mars alerts them to a dark threat that must be stopped. Joining forces with a small group of chosen individuals, Darren and Feng must race against time to find a way to unite the world.
"I wrote this book because I have been a fan of science fiction novels ever since I was a little boy. With the advancement of space travel and the increased exposure and discussions on mainstream media about UFOs and potential alien life, my book offers a fictional twist on what could happen if aliens were to invade and the problems that would arise trying to unify the Earth against an alien threat," said Jaeckel.
"Shadow of Zelos" is a promising start to a new sci-fi series filled with mystery, thrilling action and vibrant characters. This new science fiction novel sets off a chain of events that shapes the fate of the Universe forever.
