NEW YORK, Jan. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author, healer and psychoanalyst Maggie Moor has developed a spiritual self-help book that outlines her somatic healing method to help those who have been through trauma. "I AM: Your Guide to Mind and Body Union for Total Awareness" is designed to help readers who have endured trauma to become self-aware and create a mind, body and soul connection within themselves.
As a woman who faced childhood sexual abuse, drug and alcohol addiction and various other dangerous situations, Moor was motivated to develop her book to connect with others who have endured similar experiences in their lives. In "I AM," Moor emphasizes the importance of unifying the mind and body to achieve total awareness within oneself while here on Earth. She details concepts such as energetic awareness, healing the inner child and cultivating somatic experiences as tools readers can use to heal their past trauma.
"We can connect to the natural sources of energy in our bodies by focusing on our mind, body and spirit," said Moor. "When you focus on self-love by connecting to these resources, you will find that you can live a richer, fuller life."
Moor encourages readers to implement the healing tools in "I AM" by including various journaling prompts and meditation techniques within the book. When readers follow this informative self-help guide, they can begin to bring these tools to fruition in their lives and find complete awareness within themselves.
Moor also delves into the personal reality that humans create in their life experiences. Moor advocates for readers to be open to both what they consider to be "good" and "bad" experiences and reassures that all life events reflect one's own perception. She concludes that we are all on Earth to simply experience life.
