SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HonorHealth is hosting a Clinical Hiring Event to support the opening of a new observation unit at Deer Valley Medical Center. The Clinical Hiring Event will be from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 3, at Medical Office Building 1, Suite 400, located on the campus of HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center, 19829 N. 27th Ave. in Phoenix.
This job fair will give attendees the opportunity to speak with hiring managers and recruiters, learn about the culture at HonorHealth, and apply for an open position. In addition, there will be on-site interviews, door prizes and refreshments.
Opening in October 2018, the 29-bed short-stay unit will house medical/surgical and telemetry patients requiring further testing and/or observation. "Opening a dedicated observation unit is an innovative, multidisciplinary and streamlined approach that will provide cost savings for both patients and the hospital. It will also ensure patients are receiving the best possible appropriate care," said Jim Graham, associate vice president of talent acquisition for HonorHealth.
"If you want a path to be the best in your specialty, join us — you could get a job offer on-the-spot," he continued. "We're looking for passionate and talented team members in nursing and allied health including registered nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy techs, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, laboratory personnel, respiratory therapists, telemetry techs and nursing assistants. We'll have representatives from our human resources and hospital support departments to interview and make job offers."
