LEXINGTON, Ky. (PRWEB) July 25, 2018
eCampus.com, an industry-leading provider of online course material solutions for colleges and universities, and learning science company McGraw-Hill Education today announced an agreement for eCampus.com to participate in McGraw-Hill Education’s new textbook rental program, making learning materials more affordable for students in the 2018-19 school year and beyond.
Under the agreement, eCampus.com will offer more than 200 McGraw-Hill copyright 2019 titles for rent, in bound or eBook format, through more than 250 Virtual Bookstores and ALL Access programs across the country. With rentals, students will save as much as 70% off the cost of traditional bound textbooks.
The agreement also expands the eCampus.com ALL Access program, which provides students with 100% of their required course materials from Day 1 at a significantly reduced cost. As part of the eCampus.com course material solutions suite, the program focuses on a simple and affordable solution for students to get all the materials they need for their courses with a flat rate price, included as part of their tuition or fees. With the addition of McGraw-Hill’s textbook rental program, ALL Access will further reduce the cost of course materials for students. Faculty also benefit from an expanded selection of affordable curriculum options.
“We’re excited to work with eCampus.com on our rental program to make effective, affordable learning materials available to more students nationwide,” said Bill Okun, president of higher education at McGraw-Hill Education. “By working together, we’re able to help students be more successful and instructors achieve their teaching goals, at a more affordable price.”
“Our new partnership with McGraw-Hill Education’s textbook rental program aligns with our mission to provide the best selection of course materials while combating the ever-rising cost of higher education,” said Matt Montgomery, President and CEO of eCampus.com. “We continuously seek ways to best serve our partner institutions through innovative solutions like our ALL Access program and believe this new partnership with McGraw-Hill will further eCampus.com’s ability to increase textbook affordability and ultimately drive student success.”
The new agreement marks the continued expansion of McGraw-Hill Education’s affordable options for students, which include digital learning solutions, eBooks, loose leaf, mobile applications and open educational resources (OER) for select titles. Depending on the format, these solutions are available for purchase, rent, subscription or through institutional inclusive access agreements.
