New Analytics Service Aims to Solve the Attribution Gap Caused by ITP and other Cookie Privacy Regulations

AuriQ Systems has announced the free beta release of their new digital analytics service, MyData PivotBillions, for cookie privacy and ITP compliant online marketing. This service utilizes enhanced user identification methods that are fully compliant with cookie privacy regulations and helps to solve the pains of incomplete marketing attribution.

User privacy is one of the highest priorities of most major browser vendors, with Apple Safari leading the way with it's ITP (intelligent tracking prevention) features. Particularly within the crosshairs of ITP and similar measures are any attempts to do cross site tracking through javascript based cookies. These measures essentially block all third party cookies and purge many first party cookies within 1 to 7 days. As a result, many digital analytics services (e.g. - Google Analytics) that rely on javascript tags are now experiencing difficulty in assigning new vs returning visitor identifiers and determining accurate attribution scores. Unfortunately, this has had a significant impact for marketers to be able to analyze the effectiveness of their online campaigns.

AuriQ's MyData service is designed to be able to maintain high accuracy of visitor identification, regardless of browser, minimizing data loss for digital marketers and analysts. This is made possible by allowing clients to use domains that they own as the originating source of the tracking tag. MyData's same-same domain compliance ensures that browser privacy features recognizes that the site setting the cookie is the same as the site the visitor is browsing on, thus any identifiers assigned are not flagged as being used for cross site tracking. At the same time, it is a fully managed hosted service where data is collected and stored on behalf of the clients, and reporting is provided as downloadable files that are easily opened with Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau or any other BI tool. With MyData, marketers and analysts can rest assured that their on-site attribution as well as new and returning visitor segmentation are accurate.

AuriQ is offering the MyData PivotBillions service for free up to 10 million pageviews per month per account. To find out more, users can go to the MyData Pivot Billions website (https://mydata.pivotbillions.com) and sign up for a free account.
