ST. LOUIS, July 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- McKissock Learning, the leading national provider of online education for real estate appraisers, recently announced that real estate appraisers in Arizona will benefit from some new changes to their state-mandated education requirements. As of June 2019, classroom courses will no longer be required to complete the National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) update course that is revised every two years.
The change in regulation means that appraisers and people looking to become appraisers in Arizona will now be able to complete USPAP online, at their own pace and from the comfort of their own homes.
McKissock Learning is the first provider to offer online USPAP classes in Arizona.
"This is a big change for appraisers," said Ashleigh Wallach, Senior Director of Appraisal Education at McKissock Learning. "In the past, appraisers might have had to travel a long way or take time off from their busy work week to complete the mandatory education requirements. Now they're able to get everything they need right at home."
The new regulations cover both the qualifying course required to become an appraiser, and the continuing education course that appraisers must take every two years to maintain their license.
"We're really happy to see this change in regulation," continued Wallach. "Online education has evolved enormously in the last several years, and Arizona is making a significant statement of confidence in the quality and nature of online classrooms."
