Energy management expert Richard Jones presents a comprehensive scientific analysis of the warming of the Earth and its Atmosphere
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. , May 9, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author and energy expert Richard Jones has released a new book that takes a deep dive into what's likely causing global warming, and readers may be surprised.
In "Climate Change: The Shiny Object in the Room," Jones explores fossil fuel usage throughout the world, examining the current utilization rates, what must be done to mitigate usage, and what can and cannot be done through the substitution of electricity, regardless of how it is generated. The author demonstrates, using classic thermal modeling techniques, where the heat generated through the daily use of fossil fuels and electrical energy really ends up.
Jones provides that, though the atmosphere is heated temporarily by the increased presence of CO₂, the Earth isn't. It is the long-term temperature change of the Earth that is the concern, not the atmosphere.
"My goal is to ensure that the general public understands the true nature of the path we are taking through our use of fossil fuels," Jones said. "We all need to understand that CO₂ is our friend, not our enemy, and that our short-term focus on trying to reduce its atmospheric concentration is economic malfeasance. More importantly, it is to make sure that we are all aware of the harm caused by artificially limiting the use of fossil fuels; a problem surfacing similar to that faced currently within the Eastern European Community."
Jones, a retired engineer has numerous domestic and foreign patents pertaining to the use of state-of-the-art hardware and software to accomplish energy management. He has researched, designed, and implemented ground-breaking residential energy management technology, via partnerships with the electric utility industry. He also has substantial knowledge pertaining to the collection and distribution of solar energy and has a patent focusing on its use in the residential arena.
