Ron Whittaker always had a fascination for long distance hikers and has been hiking, backpacking and camping in the outdoors of Idaho for 20 years. He overcame a history of asthma to successfully hike the Idaho Centennial Trail West Alternate Route. He holds bachelor’s degrees from Oklahoma State University and Barclay College.
