Through his personal experiences and extensive research work, author Khoo Boo Eng has written “Understanding Chinese Culture in Relation to Tao” (published by Partridge Singapore), a book that will give insights on how Taoism is incorporated into the Chinese culture over thousands of years.

The book will talk about how concepts like feng shui, geography, astrology, yin yang, rituals and the way to pray in Taoism are integrated in Chinese culture through the life processes of birth, marriage and death of an individual. “Every aspect of the life process, no matter how simple it may be, will involve Tao concepts,” Khoo says.

People who are not familiar with Taoism, but are interested about it, will be able to understand the processes and procedures of each ritual using the building blocks of Taoism. This book will also provide an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the rich culture and traditions of Taoism.

“Understanding Chinese Culture in Relation to Tao” is written in simple language and shows a lot of photos to assist in the understanding of the readers. For more information on the book, please visit https://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Chinese-Culture-Relation-Tao-ebook/dp/B0823GW1HX
