New Book Melds World Events with Fictional Terrorist Plot
GREENSBORO, N.C. (PRWEB) January 06, 2016 -- A Russian colonel becomes embroiled in a terrorist plot that threatens both his country, his life and the world as he knows it in the new thriller novel, “Precision Kill” (published by Trafford Publishing) by C.R. Forrester.
Russian colonel Alexander Zukov is an integral part of Russia’s war with Afghanistan in the mid-1980s. As the fighting escalates, Alexander is assigned to a secret mission with an unlikely ally – the United States. Together, they must stop a traitor who threatens the U.S. and Russian space programs and plans to kill as many people as possible along the way.
Alexander’s mission takes him all over the world, but when he is injured in Kabul, he is reassigned to an administrative position back in Moscow. The traitor, however, is still out there and dangerous as ever. As the CIA draws Alexander back into the mission, Alexander fears the mission will end up costing him his life.
Forrester traveled widely in China and the former USSR. He infuses his experiences and observations into his narrative and bases many of the locations on real places. He hopes readers will take a better understanding of world events away from his book.
