Posthumous publication honors the memory and life of Author LyNette Jael Lewis
ST. THOMAS, US Virgin Islands, June 20, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The beauty of her home in the Virgin Islands inspired LyNette Jael Lewis to write and illustrate "The Boondock Jungle Presents Adventure to Buck Island: The Journey Begins". The book follows the journey of Jo the Iguana and his friend Fin the trushy bird as they work together to find their way to a new home on Buck Island.
The pair work together to find food and shelter during their dangerous journey, and even make new friends along the way.
This children's book features native island wildlife such as iguanas, mongoose, chicken hawks, flamingos and fruit bats. Through her words and illustrations, LyNette Jael Lewis brings to life the joy of friendships all the while educating young readers about animals and marine life throughout the Virgin Islands.
"The Boondock Jungle Presents Adventure to Buck Island: The Journey Begins," offers a positive message for readers. Its goal is to teach readers to show kindness, and to be a good friend and neighbor to both humans and animals.
