Author Elizabeth Reinach has published her new book, “Tom – the Cat: The Life and Work of Tom Cat in Sonnets,” which follows the story of an adorable tabby cat named Tom. Tom’s owner, also the narrator, is an indulgent finance director who seeks inspiration and solace from his spunky tabby.

This collection of sonnets is modeled and influenced by the great William Shakespeare’s poetry. Tom’s owner finds consolation in Tom and decides to compose sonnets about each day with his beloved cat and what they experience. Each sonnet is illustrated through Tom’s life of love and heroism. About the author
Elizabeth Reinach spent her career as a social researcher engaging in projects in the social work field. Turning from research to humor and wisdom, Reinach began to write poetry and novels which lead to “Tom – the Cat” and “Heirs of Deceits.” In her retirement, Reinach became an active member of local writing groups and had a play on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She currently resides in Aberdeen, Scotland.
