BOULDER, Colo., March 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Seven leading business leaders, today announced the formation of Hemp Harvest Innovations (HHI, LLC), a game-changing approach to botanical extraction for legal cannabinoids including CBD from the hemp plant. With patents pending for a proprietary methodology of hemp oil extraction, Hemp Harvest Innovations is poised to revolutionize the hemp extraction industry by eliminating chemical solvents, batch processing, and slow processing times.

Jeff Aldred, former CEO of Wild Goose Canning and Wild Goose Engineering in Boulder, Colorado will lead the company as CEO. By building custom packaging equipment, Wild Goose changed the game for craft brewers and helped them enter wider markets with affordable canning solutions. After dominating the market Jeff and his co-founder, Alexis Foreman sold the company to a private equity firm.

Today, the former leaders of Wild Goose have teamed up with other business leaders to form Hemp Harvest Innovations. With the passage of the Farm Bill in 2019, hemp is now legal to grow across the United States. Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, is quickly becoming one of the most sought after components of the cannabis plant. With health benefits and medicinal components, the consumer demand for CBD products has skyrocketed. However, the supply of CBD is stalled because of a lack of efficient processing solutions available on the market. Current technologies use dangerous solvents and cannot keep up with the scale of the demand for CBD.
