The Aura Personal Proximity Sensor™ alerts wearers when they come too close to one another.

Trumeter, a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of sophisticated measuring products, announced the launch of the Aura Personal Proximity Sensor: a wearable social distancing device. The Aura wristband alerts wearers when they move within a specified distance of one another so they can move to a safe distance. It is easy to disinfect, recharges quickly, and is perfect for corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, nursing homes, gyms, and any setting where the safety of employees and customers is a top priority.

“When the pandemic hit, we immediately started thinking about how to keep our employees safe when they returned to work,” said John Smith, Chairman at Trumeter. “We quickly utilized our engineering and design expertise to develop a wearable device that all organizations could use to help keep their employees and customers safe through social distancing. Aura is the result of that hard work.”

Aura features include:

  • Three alerts: vibration, beeping and flashing
  • Configurable distance of 1.5 - 10 feet / 0.5 - 3.0 meters
  • Up to 12-hours use on a single charge
  • Fast charging via USB with full charge in 1 hour
