"Home Base has reimagined what is possible and developed new models of care For Veterans with mental health and brain injuries received during their service to this nation. Through these intensive clinical programs, we now fly veterans and their family members to Boston and provide them with the best care possible all at NO Cost to them,” said retired Brigadier General Jack Hammond, Executive Director of Home Base. “We have leveraged the deep clinical resources of Mass General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School faculties, technology, and emerging evidence-based treatments to provide life-saving, holistic care to Veterans and military families from across the nation."

“We look forward to exploring how Home Base clinicians and MGH scientists are engaging in novel test treatments for PTS and TBI,” said Richard Simon, producer for the Advancements series. “Guided by a Scientific Council composed of internationally renowned professionals in the field of PTS and TBI, the innovation efforts at Home Base have the potential to lead to significant new ways to diagnose and treat these invisible wounds.”
