New Explosion Proof Limit Switches From Bonomi Offer More Approvals, Protection At Lower Cost
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (PRWEB) February 28, 2019 -- Bonomi North America has introduced a compact, heavy-duty hazardous location limit switch series with both mechanical and non-contact models. The new low-cost Bonomi EX Series provides both visual and remote electrical indication of valve/actuator position.
The LS2-B-EXM (mechanical model) employs two silver-plated mechanical contact switches. The LS2-B-EXN (non-contact) includes two hermetically-sealed silver-plated snap-acting switches. Both feature aluminum housing with a thick, protective powder coating and a twin shaft design with metallic self-lubricating bushings.
Approvals include ATEX, IECEx, AEC, CCOE and INMETRO. They are UL listed for:
• Class 1 Division 1 Groups C, D and Division 2 Groups C, D
• Class 2 Division 1 Groups E, F, G and Division 2 Groups F, G
They are Certified up to SIL 3 by TÜV. The operating temperature range is -4°F to +176°F (-20°C to +80°C).
Housing conforms to NAMUR output shaft dimensions and ISO F05 bolt-hole locations. This maximizes interchangeability and reduces cost by eliminating the need for switch/actuator coupler.
The Bonomi EX Series comes standard with two ½” NPT cable entries with the option available for three entries or metric threading. Wiring is easy through the terminal PCB board. Multiple indicator options are available.
