NEW YORK, April 19, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With his 2020 anthology, "Day by Day Time Folding Time" (published by Trafford Publishing), Ralph Günther Mohnnau introduced an exciting new voice in the world of poetry.
This year, the author and poet launches a new press campaign for his book in hopes of reaching a wider audience, especially those who have passion for the art of Japanese haiku.
"Day by Day Time Folding Time" is a creative collection of 99 haikus that reflects what life is like every day. Each piece has a corresponding English and German translation, thus allowing readers to appreciate the poetry in both languages. The haiku, with its direct form of expression and the simplicity of its words, is enriched with themes of love — to life, mankind and the world. Mohnnau believes that the book will appeal to those who are fascinated by the exotic form of Japanese poetry.
A haiku from the book (in English and German language) reads:
nächtlicher flug: auf
den tragflächen spiegelt sich
das licht des vollmonds
nocturnal flight: on
wings reflecting back the sheen
of the full moon's light
"Day by Day Time Folding Time" is published with companion collections: "Sowing Nightshade in the Wastelands of Cities" and "On the Tidings of Time"— also available from Trafford Publishing.
