Dr. Fathi Kemicha announces his return into the publishing scene with the release of “Memoirs in a Path for Tomorrow: The Journey of an Itinerant Lawyer” (published by Archway Publishing) in which he shares his life story as a man who experienced an unprecedented, international career.
This memoir chronicles the highlights of Kemicha’s life beginning with his early years in Tunisia and his arrival in Paris in 1973 where he embarked on an unprecedented career path. Sharing his journey and discoveries, Kemicha tells of his experiences as an artist, lawyer, international arbitrator, farmer, author of a thousand-page doctoral thesis at the University of Paris, as a visiting scholar at Yale, and as a son, father, and grandfather.
“I don’t want the young readers of this account of my career path to believe that it has been a smooth ride or a long, quiet river. Fifty years separate me from the day I left Tunisia seeking first to educate myself and then to explore the world by changing roles and areas of specialization, driven by my desire to achieve excellence, even if I knew that it was pure illusion. Once when my father gently teased me because I did not become rich, my mother replied that her son was rich in the knowledge of people, and that is a real treasure; she was right. This is indeed what I gained at the end of this long journey,” Kemicha says.
When asked what he wants readers to take away from the book, Kemicha answers, “At every stage of my professional life, I have given a lot of myself without ever expecting anything in return. The recipe is always the same: I take what is entrusted to me without really having sought it out, I diagnose it, I build a vision, I finally set goals, and I work to achieve them with passion and conviction. I hope what I have done will resonate to readers.” For more details about the book, please visit https://www.archwaypublishing.com/en/bookstore/bookdetails/846258-memoirs-in-a-path-for-tomorrow
